Membership Meeting – Tuesday, April 11 at Noon, Waterloo Center for the Arts, Waterloo

Learn about enneagram, a personality typology that helps people understand personality and manage stress. Nate is also an active member of the Jaycees! Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP before Wed., April 5th at Noon.

April Service Opportunity: Polar Plunge – Thursday, March 2, George Wyth State Park

Looking for a chance to volunteer in the Cedar Valley? Jaycees will be volunteering to help with the Special Olympics Polar Plunge. Assistance is needed to set up, tear down, and registration.

If you are available and interested in joining to volunteer OR if you are interested in joining a Jaycees team to participate in the Polar Plunge, please contact Mark.

Jaycees Scholarship Opportunity

Do you know a local high school student who embodies the Jaycees’ spirit of community service? Encourage them to apply for the Bob Molinaro Memorial Scholarship. Applications are due May 1. Visit our website for more information.

We are also looking for Jaycees to review applications and help us make our decision. Applications will be reviewed May 2-17. The committee will meet Wednesday, May 17th from 5:30 – 6:30 at Lark Brewing. Contact Cristy Steffen or Nathan Miller if you are interested.

Sandbox Drive – May 9 at 5:30, ACES, Cedar Falls

We will not have a traditional membership meeting in May. Instead, we are asking all members to lend a hand for our annual sandbox build. Join us at ACES at 5:30 to help assemble the sandboxes. No building experience required.Would you like to purchase a sandbox this year? Email sandbox@cedarvalleyjacees.org. Hurry, supplies are limited!
